Shade cells until every row and column weighs exactly what its total asks. The numbers along the top and left edge say what a cell in that column or row is worth; the numbers along the right and bottom say what each line must come to. The two edges pair up: a value along the top feeds the totals down the right, and a value along the left feeds the totals along the bottom, so every shaded cell is counted twice with a different value each time.
Three modes: Classic; Veiled, where some totals are withheld and those lines have to be worked out from the other direction; and Counterweight, where some values are negative — they sit the other side of the fulcrum and subtract, so a line may go over its total and come back.
