Privacy 秘密

Nothing follows you

NazoKiro has no accounts and no database. There is nothing to sign up for, nothing to log in to and no profile of you anywhere — the only copy of what you do here is the one in your own browser.

What is kept on your device

All of it is ordinary browser storage belonging to this site, readable only by NazoKiro. No cookies are set anywhere — the game never touches them. Nothing below is transmitted, because there is nowhere to transmit it to, and all of it stays until you erase it or clear your browser.

Your progressPuzzles you have part-finished and your best times, so you can pick a puzzle back up and see how far you have come.
Your preferencesLanguage, light or dark, the background pattern, favourites and difficulty — so the app looks the way you left it.
How much you have playedA count of puzzles solved, used to word the occasional note about donating and to keep it to at most once a day.
Whether you have donatedA marker that a donation came through, so the thank-you extras stay unlocked. No payment reference is kept. Your name, address and card details go to PayPal and never reach NazoKiro — every donor here is anonymous.

None of it identifies you. There is no account, no email address, no advertising identifier and no device fingerprint, and nothing here is linked to anything you do elsewhere.

What leaves your browser

Nothing about you, unless you choose it. There is no analytics script, no advertising, no embedded video, no social widget and no error reporting, and even the fonts are served from this site rather than from Google. Like every website, NazoKiro's pages are delivered by a web host, which sees your IP address as part of ordinary internet traffic and may keep routine technical logs; NazoKiro adds nothing to those logs, reads nothing from them, and receives nothing about you from them. The one choice that leaves the site is a donation: tapping an amount takes you to PayPal, where PayPal's own terms and privacy policy apply.

Your rights, exercised here

Under the GDPR and the CCPA you may ask what is held about you, correct it, take a copy, and have it deleted. Because everything is on your own device, you do not have to ask anyone: the list above is the complete answer to the first question, and the button below is the deletion. Nothing is sold, rented or shared, so there is no opt-out for it to have, and nobody is profiled or decided about automatically. NazoKiro is not aimed at children and knowingly collects nothing from anyone.

Where data-protection law applies, the little that is stored is stored because it is necessary to provide the features you ask for; it serves no other purpose. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may complain to the data-protection authority where you live — though an email first will almost always resolve it faster.

This clears every saved puzzle, every record, your settings and your donor status from this browser. It cannot be undone, and it does not affect any other device.

Changes and contact

If NazoKiro ever starts doing something this page does not describe, the notice you saw on your first visit will be shown again before it does — and if it were ever something that needed your permission, it would ask for it rather than announce it.

Any question about this page, or about what is held on your device, can go to support@nazokiro.com.
